What do you do if you have a toothache emergency and your dentist is closed?

If you have a toothache in Indianapolis, it is important that you call Westside Family Dental as soon as possible. If our office is closed, there are steps you can take for temporary relief. Typically, toothaches are cause by tooth decay and cavities, and the solution may require a filling and/or root canal. 

For a temporary solution, you can purchase Orajel or a temporary sedative filling to place on the area. These can be found in the dental section of most drug stores. If you don't have access to either of these, we recommend using an anti-inflammatory such as Advil and Aleve; these will work more efficiently than tylenol or other asprins.
